Like a walk on the moon, our KICKAROOS seem to defy gravity with every fun-filled step. Kids simply strap them on right OVER their athletic shoes! KICKAROOS employ slightly lighter materials than original AIR KICKS Boots, which allows for a lower entry-level cost for younger children. And like AIR KICKS, KICKAROOS feature high-traction treads on the soles that make them safe to use on virtually any surface, indoors or out, and wont mar floors! Heavy-duty, rubber T-Springs transform downward energy into bouncing motions gentle on joints and bones. Not only do kids (and adults) love the cushiony motion, its easy to burn calories, build coordination and strengthen leg muscles! So in addition to jumping for joy, theyll be jumping for exercise too! The users Body Weight is the most important sizing factor, since, thanks to the open-toe design of KICKAROOS, Shoe Size can vary as long as the users Weight is correct. We recommend purchasing the size that most accurately describes the users current weight, rather than choosing a larger size to grow into. This is because if the users weight is less than the indicated weight range, the springs will be too tight, and the KICKAROOS will not produce adequate bounce (which will not be very fun!). In fact, it is OK if the users Body Weight exceeds the recommendation, by up to 10%. For example, for size MEDIUM, the weight limit is 99 lbs., but the boots are designed to safely be able to handle an additional 10%. For this reason, users up to 110 lbs. can actually wear a size MEDIUM. So, based on the last 2 notes if the user is in-between sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size. For example, if your child is 55 lbs., for example, we would recommend the SMALL size (33-55 lbs.) because the next size up (MEDIUM) will actually be very stiff and not bouncy, while the SMALL can be worn until the child is as much as 60-61 lbs.
